It's always nerve racking going live with something like an online shop, as small businesses like ours really do put our all into it, and it feels really personal. There's always a fear that no one's going to show up, or no one's going to order. No matter how long we've done this now, imposter syndrome is still a bitch. But we've been absolutely blown away by all your orders, love and support.

I did have a little happy cry when the orders started rolling in dead on 9am Monday when the shop went live. You're the best, and I just wanted to drop in to let you know how happy it makes people in small businesses feel when you support and buy from them. This shop last year literally got us through the January lockdown and we couldn't be more thankful to still be here now. We're so lucky to have such an amazing bunch of customers, and we've built some lovely relationships over the years. For us, it really is all about the people. And making real food, with real ingredients, because we really care about you, and what we do, and want to put smiles on your faces and help you and your loved ones celebrate. This year more than ever after all things covid.

So thank you. For spending your hard earned cash with us, and not with a faceless supermarket or big chain, and for supporting us girls through thick and thin. However you're spending Christmas this year, showing your local independents some love where you can (whoever they are) really does make a huge difference, and you'll get much better stuff too!
